class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moses opened the car door for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBack to Costa Rica?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I looked once at the building where my children had smiled over my humiliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then I touched the rosary in my pocket, the same one I had held at Robert\u2019s funeral, the same one I had held on the plane, the same one I held when I signed away the last claim my children had over my peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes,\u201d I said. \u201cBack home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And for the first time in my life, home did not mean the place where I had
